There are two ways to stay: the Thar Regal Suites — cottage rooms with a hand-printed tented ceiling, king bed, sofa seating and a private verandah — and the Thar Semi-Luxury Suites, air-conditioned Swiss tents with a double bed and attached bathroom.
Evenings are the reason to come: the camp lights up at dusk, the sky turns violet over the dunes and the city feels a long way off. Add a jeep safari on the Sam dunes or a taxi transfer from Jaisalmer when you enquire.
